In order to provide the healthy environment that all visitors and employees expect in a medical facility, Southwest General Medical Building, and the adjacent medical office buildings have joined other hospitals in making hospital campuses tobacco-free. The use of all tobacco products is strictly prohibited on the entire Texas Vista Medical Center campus. Tobacco products include, but are not limited to: cigarettes, cigars, vape pens, pipes, chewing tobacco, and snuff. The use of tobacco products is prohibited in and around Southwest General Medical Building , including at all building entrances as well as the building’s surrounding walkways, drives and parking areas. Tobacco use is also prohibited on/in all campus streets as well as parking lots and garages, including inside personal vehicles. All tenants are responsible for enforcing the policy with their employees, patients, guests, and vendors.
